With ground cover roses, free areas in the garden can be quickly and easily transformed into flowering carpets. Rose the fairy not only blooms beautifully in the summer months and into autumn, but also supports you in the fight against weeds with its dense growth and many small branches.
Dreamlike flowers as far as the eye can see
Pink the fairy yellow is a ground cover rose and forms a sea of flowers on surfaces for many months of the year. The small shrub roses can also be planted to border walls and to fortify slopes, and after a short time they produce beautiful trails of flowers that give the area a romantic character. The ground cover roses grow bushy in small bushes, a growth rate of up to 15cm per year can be expected. Rose the fairy has reached its maximum height at 30-50cm.

These small shrub roses have oval leaves that are pointed at the end and slightly seamed. The foliage of these ground cover roses is summer green and of a beautiful medium colour. The flowers are cupped and small, delighting the garden lover with their delicate and elegant yellow hue from around June until October. Rosa the fairy yellow has semi-double flowers with dense branches where weeds have no chance. Small insects, however, find much-needed shelter in the dense foliage.

Rose the fairy fits very well if you not only want to plant shrub roses in your rose garden, but also want to flower areas. Rosa the fairy in yellow is an eye-catcher both on its own and in combination with ground cover roses in other colours such as white or pink. Rose the fairy is particularly suitable for romantic gardens, and as a low hedge plant it makes a beautiful border for paths and driveways. If you like, you can combine ground cover roses very well with lavender, which also attracts bees. The rose also comes into its own when planted singly in containers on balconies or terraces and quickly forms a dense growth habit.
Planting tips for ground cover roses
The ground cover roses thrive best in sun or partial shade in a normal, well-drained and humus-rich garden soil. They can be planted all year round and are of course hardy. In spring, the ground cover roses should be cut back to about 10 cm so that they appear in full bloom again in summer. Choose small shrub roses that have few soil and care requirements.
