The native yew is an evergreen with many uses. It can either be planted in a box on the patio or directly in the ground. The Taxus, with its fine soft dark green needles and dense growth, is very tolerant of pruning and is therefore very suitable for topiary and garden bonsai. Taxus baccata, also known as yew, has a long tradition of topiary, just like boxwood. That is why the Taxus ball is a versatile wood. Whether your garden concept is modern or classical, a yew ball always fits. The yew is considered to be an exceptionally shade-tolerant garden plant.
