Winter Jasmine - Jasminum nudiflorum
Yellow flowering winter jasmine, this jasmine owes its name to the fact that it flowers on bare wood. The shrub sprouts dark green twigs that turn yellow-brown after about two years. The young twigs are always green in winter.

Spreading jasmine is versatile, a popular use being as a house wall border. The Jasminum nudiflorum also looks very good planted as a hedge. In the dreary winter months, its small yellow flowers, which become visible from December onwards, lend a pretty appearance to any type of border.
